Sometimes bumps in the road really work out, and that’s what’s happened here - due to unforeseen circumstances, the June Lake cabin wasn’t going to work as official party headquarters anymore. So, after some serious internet searching and frantic phone calls, the fates aligned and a rental property with our names on it opened up and…. it’s official -
The beach now for us, ladies, in beautiful Santa Cruz, CA!
Yes, we’re headed to Jody’s old stomping grounds in SC for a weekend of fun in the sun.
The 3-bedroom Opal Cliff Beach House is 5 minutes from the beach and 7 minutes to Capitola Village. It’s got a lovely sunroom, two outside decks, a charcoal bbq, a spa and a relaxing hammock for sleeping off that hangover! See more photos here: http://www.santacruzjoy.com/
So pack your beach gear and meet at the house around 4pm on Friday! Remember that adorable little sundress, too, with those great strappy sandals, ‘cause we’ll be headed into downtown Capitola Friday night after dinner, with Jody at the helm, showing us some of her favorite ol’ stomping grounds!

Wow, I think that we are going to have blast seeing where Jody went to school & I must say, the beach is always great! Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

As a Santa Cruz native I just want to recommend everyone bring a nice warm jacket to wear over their cute sundress as well--the fog loves Capitola!
